Westfield has three Timber holiday chalets which offers selfcatering accommodation to holiday makers and cater mainly for nature lovers
who wish to enjoy the peace and quiet of farm life – guests, however, will not be bored as there are plenty of facilities to pass the time with, if not
at Westfield itself then at neighbouring Witsand and Port Beaufort.
Westfield is one of the only places where the towering dunes may be challenged with 4x4 vechicles and quad bikes. Bookings to be made with our guide Marius Heyneman.
Staying at Westfield
Relax in our two bedroomed timber Chalets . One with a double bed and one with two single beds and a extra
bed in the lounge. The Chalets are fully furnished and are selfcatering. Linen isprovided but please bring your
own towels. No pets allowed.

Westfield has a very mild winter climate with an annual rainfall of less than 400mm which is also spread quite evenly over the whole year. So your chances of spending a wet holiday here is unlikely.

The 4x4 route originated in the middle 80’s when tractors used the road. The present 9 kilometers can be seen as a nature route due to the fact that there are various points on the farm where you can look out onto the sea. An extra special treat is to be on the dunes from May till November when the whales come to Witsand to calf. A tougher route is a grade 3 to 4 route. This route can only be tried under the guidance of a trained guide. Our guide, Marius Heyneman can be contacted on 082 859 3390, organizes his own groups. More than 2 4 x 4 vehicles need to partake to make it viable to arrange a tour.
