1) Location of cottage
• The cottage is situated in a quiet, secure area of Duine Park (Stand 1014) that literally lies at the end of Witsand and is very close to the tidal pool and on the beach adjacent to the main swimming beach. The cottage is on top of the dune and has uninterrupted views of the sea, whales, etc. It is literally a step from the front doors onto the beach.


• Witsand is known to be a very safe environment both in terms of security (crime) as well as for children who roam freely on the beaches and have plenty of opportunities to swim, snorkel and explore in the protected areas of the vast rock pools.
• Witsand is situated at the estuary of the Breede River and is a fisherman’s and boating paradise/haven. It is extremely rich in wild and bird life and remains blessedly unspoilt by the commercialization seen in many other seaside beauty spots.
• Witsand has some restaurants and a small supermarket, but is a very beautiful, quiet and tranquil holiday spot which allows one to get-away-from-it-all and truly relax.

2) Accommodation: Main House
• Consists of three bedrooms (main en suite) all downstairs. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, bedroom two has a double bed and bedroom three has two single beds. Bedding included
• The Main en suite consists of a shower, basin and toilet and the other family bathroom consists of a bath, basin and toilet. Upstairs there is a guest loo.
• Upstairs, to maximize the enjoyment of the views, there is an open plan lounge/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen. There is a television in the lounge. The kitchen consists of an eye level oven, microwave, gas hob, fridge and dish washing machine.
• There are two decks one facing the sea with 180 degree’s uninterrupted sea view and the other deck at the back with a built in braai. The back deck is ideal in winter to catch the sun.
• Under the stairs is a small concealed wash area consisting of a washing machine and tumble drier.

3) Accommodation: Bed sitter
• The bed-sitter consists of a one-bed room with a double bed, kitchenette and breakfast nook (Bedding Included). The kitchenette is equipped and has a microwave oven, sink and bar fridge. There is a separate bathroom consisting of shower, toilet and basin. There is a private garden with a braai.

4) Parking is available for 1 car per unit.

5) Fully self-catered. Cleaners can be arranged on request for an additional fee.

6) The 2 units can be rented together or separately.
