Then Cape Infanta is the place for you. The small village Infanta is a seaside holiday resort and fishing hamlet situated on the western side of the Breede River (opposite Witsand). St. Sebastian Bay and the surrounding hills cloaked in Fynbos are a nature lover’s and fisherman’s delight. There is a slipway for launching powerboats and a rocky shoreline with good diving and angling spots as Infanta. |
Accommodation
Infanta Whales Accommodation can sleep 4 adults and 2 children. The house offers a fully equipped kitchen with deepfreeze, fridge, stove, microwave oven, crockery and cutlery and a fully automatic washing machine. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The main bedroom has a balcony with seaview. Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen and lounge with an indoor braai with all its facilities. There is also an outside braai. DSTV – you don’t have to bring your card or decoder with. Bedding is supplied but no towels. Please note that the garage attached to the house is not included in the occupation of the house, there is however a carport for two cars and a boat. The house is walking distance to the sea and 1km from the river mouth.
Things to do in the area:
Plenty of whales can be seen during June/November. You can climb up the cliff, sit on a bench and watch the whales frolicking in the water below. Malgas Pontoon, the Bush Pub and Pizza Den are nearby. Plenty of birds to watch and the De Hoop Nature Reserve is close by. Need to know more? Please feel free to ask.
